The second treatise of Summa logicae is devoted to the study of propositions. It examines the different kinds of propositions, their truth-conditions, and their conversion rules. In fact, it brings us into the kernel of logic : it determines the conditions which make a proposition true, the effect of temporal determinations, and the nature of logical modalities.
