Gramsci is escaping from all skeleton-like marxism. And this has made his works dubious. But, in reality, he develops acute and rich analyses of « catharsis », « metabolism », the role of intellectuals, etc., which focus on a very new (and non-leninist) approach to the problem of « hegemony » and which question the traditional way of thinking the relationship between civil society and state.
