Author | LUDWIG WITTGENSTEIN |
Under this tittle, Wittgenstein’s literary executors have gathered different manuscripts from the last two years (1949-1951), which deal with problems related to the foundations of psychology : they revert to the question of asymetry, develop a critical approach to the so-called Moore’s paradox, undertake analyses of acknowledgment, pretence, dawning of aspect, etc. Their general trend is to show how to escape from what Wittgenstein considers as the « philosophical wasps’ nest » par excellence : the belief according to which « man’s thinking goes on within his consciousness in a seclusion in comparaison with which any seclusion is openness ». |
